Divination Covenant

History:
Led by a council of Eladrin, the native Eladrin population makes up most of this group. This is considered a radical group to native humans on Aeterna. The Eladrin race has always been one to smite evil, and this group considers the government officials of old (who have all seemingly disappeared into hiding) to be harbingers of supreme evil. The Covenant’s primary concerns do not seem to be taking control of the planetary government, but they have instead put their focus on a witch hunt for government officials. Since the end of the Ilithid War the Covenant has been tracking government officials through small downs and back alleys and then publicly executing them. The lack of a central government and police force means that there is no one to stop them from getting away with the killings, although few truly object with their acts.

Political Stance:
The council has openly stated that it is involved in a hunt to kill every last high ranking member of the old government. The council has also stated that it has no intentions of creating or leading any form of future government. They have stated that they will act as a vigilant force and watch over any future government officials and will act against the law if needed to keep them in line. There is some speculation that this group may be in contact with the Eladrin homeworld, who is in poor favor with Aeterna, and conspiracies have risen that the Covenant secretly seeks to annex the planet in the name of the Eladrin homeworld.

Key Players:
Cardinal Eldawynn: Fanatical Cardinal of the Eladrin religion, he has become the face of the movement. He publicly incites upheaval and pushes the group onward in their hunt.
